Hear The Best Live Entertainment at The House of Blues
For Myrtle Beach’s best in live music and entertainment, plan a visit to the House of Blues. This restaurant and legendary venue hosts musicians, comedians, and special events all year ‘round.
With locations all around the United States, the House of Blues celebrates 20 years of history, with the goal of introducing the world to the music of the rural south – specifically the Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Gospel, Jazz and Roots-based Rock & Roll. The Myrtle Beach location is no exception to this and has been entertaining the Grand Strand for over two decades!
The House of Blues is a LiveNation venue and the stage has seen performers such as Fuel, Ted Nugent, Pauly Shore, and Carlos Mencia to name a few. They even host murder mystery dinner theater parties and regular Cornhole tournaments. Sunday is also a busy day for The House of Blues with their weekly gospel brunch. An area tradition, the gospel brunch features local artists that serenade guests as they enjoy a variety of breakfast favorites. If you go, you won’t want to miss out on their famous chicken and waffles – a guest favorite!
The Myrtle Beach location has been open since 1997, and is located along a unique stretch of ocean thought to have been a hiding spot of famous pirates. Along with other southern inspiration, the House of Blues Myrtle Beach was made to look like a Southern farmhouse with an old-time feel. The music and performance hall resembles an old tobacco barn – and keeping with the House of Blues tradition, a metal box of mudd from the Delta Mississippi can be found underneath the performance stage.
Great for couples or large groups, the House of Blues never fails to exceed expectations with their great live entertainment and fun atmosphere. Visit the website for a calendar of events and make sure that a trip to the House of Blues is on your vacation itinerary!
