Hit The Dance Floor at Revolutions
Slip on your bell-bottoms and strap on some stacks. Disco may be dead in other corners of the world, but it's alive and kicking at Revolutions Dance Club in Myrtle Beach.
Located in the trendy Celebrations Square at the popular Broadway at the Beach entertainment, dining and shopping complex, Revolutions stands out among the dozen-or-so clubs in the nightlife district.
Perhaps that's because Revolutions harkens back to a different era in music and fashion, from the disco age of the 1970s and the MTV generation of the '80s to the pop-driven sounds of the 1990s and the modern music of the 2000s, Revolutions covers the hits from a stack of calendars with a live DJ and state-of-the-art sound system.
But the action is on the dance floor, where locals and tourists mingle to the music that transcends generations. Watch the young crowd performing the "YMCA" and the older set break it down to some new-school hip hop. Anything goes beneath Revolutions' giant disco ball.
Of course, all that dancing can work up a thirst, and Revolutions can cool you down and keep you dancing deep into the night. Nightly drinks specials and the coldest beer in town are served up by some of the hottest bartenders and beer-tub girls in town. There are plenty of room and VIP booths to take a break between your favorite songs.
Revolutions is part of a family of Broadway clubs, along with Z-Bar Cigar and Martini Bar and Crocodile Rocks Dueling Pianos. One cover charge gains admittance to all three, so you can relax with a martini and laugh to some laugh music before boogying down at Revolutions.
Guests must be 21 and over to enter and there's no cover charge for those with local IDs. For more information, visit the website at http://www.fantasticclubs.com
