Myrtle Beach Events: Labor Day Edition
Labor Day is right around the corner and if you are lucky enough to be gracing our sandy shores over this weekend you will surely find plenty to do to keep your group happy! Blues, Brews, & BBQ – August 30th
This Myrtle Beach House of Blues event takes place over Labor Day weekend and always draws a crowd and you don’t want to miss out on the palette pleasing fun! This lively festival hosts more than 30 craft beer vendors from across the country in addition to several regional BBQ experts, all of whom will be serving up their finest fare. Additionally, there will be live entertainment and plenty of activities to keep you busy throughout the afternoon. The cosc for this event is just $5 for a tasting glass and then guests will purchase tickets for $1 a piece that can be traded for food samples and drink tastings. Broadway at the Beach
If you are looking for a one stop shop for dining, entertainment, and events during your Labor Day weekend festivities – look no farther than Broadway at the Beach! This bustling outdoor venue has plenty in store for Labor Day weekend that you won’t want to miss out on. In addition to their vast array of on-site attraction and dining options, Broadway is hosting several other weekend events to keep you entertained. Stop by Celebrity Square on Friday to see the Ashley Martin Band playing or on Saturday evening to catch the Austin Mowery Band. There will also be free face painting in the Center Court on Friday evening from 6pm – 9pm, a spectacular fireworks show over Lake Broadway on Saturday evening at 10pm, and other roaming street performers and entertainers all weekend long. One simply cannot forget about the beach! After all, it is the main reason why you chose to come to Myrtle Beach, isn’t it? Bring your favorite book, a few chairs, and perhaps even a few beach games and settle in for an afternoon filled with wet n’ wild fun! Popular beach games include cornhole, washer toss, bocce ball, and ladder ball – to name a few. Many guests also enjoy packing a picnic or grabbing lunch at one of the beach’s many seaside restaurants. It simply wouldn’t be a true Labor Day weekend without spending at least one afternoon basking in the sun and letting the waves wash your worries away!
