The Pavilion Nostalgia Park
The Pavilion Nostalgia Park is ready to delight its visitors with rides and games for all ages. Located on the east side of Broadway at the Beach, this park is just the right size to enjoy after a day of playing at the beach. The little ones will love the kiddie size rides including the spinning Tea Cups, glittering Motorcycles, gently swaying Pirate Ship and more. Adults and older children will delight in the larger Pirate Ship, the suspended Wave Swings, and the fast-spinning Caterpillar ride to name a few.
The carousel is a jewel in Myrtle Beach's history, delighting the area's local and visiting children since the 1950's. Choose your horse, tiger, bird, or camel on the Herschell-Spillman Carousel, built in 1912. All but two of the animals on this carousel are hand-carved making for a difficult decision on which enchanting animal you will ride.
Try your luck in the midway-style games with Spill-the-Milk, Bushel Baskets or Basketball Throw. As you ride and play at The Pavilion Nostalgia Park you will hear the joyful sounds of the German Baden Band Organ. This hand-carved work of art was debuted at the World Expo in Paris in 1900 and after more than a century is still going strong.
You won't leave The Pavilion Nostalgia Park hungry with the selection of food stands scattered through the park offering tempting funnel cakes, corn-dogs, and ice cold drinks. There is no need to worry about where to park your car, parking is free and ample surrounding Broadway at the Beach complex.
Ride tickets can be purchased for $3.00 a piece and each ride takes one ticket. You also have the option to buy a bundle of 9 tickets for $20.00 in the park or online for $16.99. The Pavilion Nostalgia park is open year round with extended hours in the spring and summer.
Come enjoy a part of Myrtle Beach's history on the rides that children have delighted in for ages at The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
