But the Big D Theater is about much more than the view. Featuring the latest in 7.1 surround sound technology and custom luxury leather seating, all your senses will be entertained while experiencing movies in Big D style.
Visitors also receive the VIP treatment at the Big D Theater, which rolls out the red carpet to give guests a Hollywood-style environment. From the cozy seats to the gourmet popcorn sold at the unique concession stand, the Big D experience is unlike any you have seen, heard, or felt before at a more traditional movie theater.
The Big D Theater changes its movie schedule on a weekly basis and usually offers 2D and 3D versions of the latest action thrillers. Admission is only $3 over the usual ticket price, plus a surcharge if 3D glasses are necessary.

2013 Active Duty Military Special at Coral Beach Resort
Coral Beach Resort is extending their gratitude to our troops and their families until April of 2014. The resort has helped thousands of men and women in the military to relax and enjoy their stay in Myrtle Beach over the years. This year, Coral Beach is going beyond their “call of duty”. All Active Military who make an online reservation from April 15th through December 31st will receive up to $10 to spend at the resort for every night they stay.
Coral Beach has a variety of ways to use their Resort Credit. Among the resort’s food, beverage, and retail outlets, popular destinations include: the Coral Bean Café (serving Starbucks), the new Entertainment Zone, a General Store, and the Oceanfront Splash Bar & Grill. The new Entertainment Zone features an 8-lane bowling alley, arcade, and a grill that offers your favorite food and beverages for all ages. When you would like to spend your Resort Credit, simply swipe your hotel key.
With the proof of ID, the Active Duty Military Resort Credit will be granted at check-in. There will be a limited number of rooms available with this special, so booking in advance is suggested.
Families will receive a $5 Resort Credit for every night they stay within the months of October, 2013-March, 2014. They will double their credit amount if they book to stay before the end of September 2013. The special is valid up to 7 nights.
