Let’s face it: one of the best parts of vacation is the food, and Myrtle Beach has no shortage when it comes to good eats! Located just a few miles north of The Coral Beach Resort, Broadway at the Beach is a local hot spot featuring a variety of restaurants to choose from. Whether you’re in the mood for seafood, burgers, milkshakes, or sushi, there are more than 20 restaurants at Broadway at the Beach set to satisfy the pickiest of eaters!

Aside from mouth watering restaurants, Broadway at the Beach also boasts shopping, attractions, and entertainment so you’ll have plenty to do before or after you dine. We’ve curated a full list of the best restaurants at Broadway at the Beach to help simplify your dinner decision.

This Broadway at the Beach restaurant is known as a “chef-driven American Gastropub.” It is here that craft beers and craft food unite to create a memorable culinary experience. Enjoy one of their 54 craft beers on tap or indulge in their signature Bacon Brie Burger. American Tap House is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 9 pm. The self-proclaimed “Original Gastrobar,” Bar Louie provides a casual atmosphere with tasty food, refreshing cocktails, and one-of-a-kind service. Bar Louie’s menu features delicacies like the Poutine Burger, made-to-order with Louie’s classic burger blend of beef brisket, short ribs and ground chuck, topped with fried provolone, french fries, gravy, and garlic aioli and served on a toasted bun. Bar Louie is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 2 am. Visit their website for more information.

Carolina Ale House is a casual, family friendly restaurant in Myrtle Beach where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. The menu includes more than 60 beers on tap and delicious fare like their Thai Chicken Bowl, Beer Battered Fish & Chips, and Pretzels with Queso. Does your team have a big game? Every wall at Carolina Ale House is lined with TVs so you can feel right at home as you cheer them on! Check out their full menu of American favorites with a twist! Dave & Buster’s is your one-stop shop for food, fun, and sports! Enjoy drinks at the bar while watching the latest game on the WOW wall, a 40-foot wide LED TV wall showing up to 6 games at once. Nosh on delicious chef-crafted meals while playing the best arcade and virtual reality games. Some of our favorite dishes include their Asian Nachos and Bavarian Pretzels! Extreme Pizza is NOT your average pizza joint! This pizza place in Myrtle Beach features handcrafted gourmet pizza, calzones, salads, and more. Their philosophy is “dedication to quality, commitment to innovation” and they pride themselves on upholding this in every slice they serve! Extreme Pizza is pushing the pizza experience to a higher level and we’re here for it. Check out their menu here. Extreme Pizza is open daily from 11 am to 11 pm. 

At Good Time Charley’s you’ll find delicious food, craft draft beer, fishbowl-size cocktails and an awesome outdoor patio! Enjoy menu options like fried pickles, homemade reuben, a crab cake sandwich, or a pimento cheeseburger. They also feature a great Happy Hour menu Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 pm. Whatever you’re in the mood for, you can find it here! Good Time Charley’s is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm, with the bar open until 2 am most nights.

Known by many for their local craft brews and fresh-made sushi, The Grumpy Monk is a locally owned restaurant that has been voted The Best Happy Hour on the Beach four years in a row! Starters include dips, fried southern classics, nachos, and wings. Entrees range from smothered chicken and Calabash seafood to hot subs and flamboyant burgers. While the sushi menu is extensive, the drink menu is even bigger featuring 10 rotating taps and an assortment of craft beers. Myrtle Beach’s newest family attraction is here! The Hangout is a Myrtle Beach restaurant and entertainment complex that offers plenty of fun to complement your delicious dining experience. Get your fill of classic beachside fare like crab legs and seafood boils big enough for the whole family, or go American with a Shaka Burger topped with fresh fried shrimp, Shaka cheese sauce, remoulade, and crisp lettuce. Save room for dessert in the form of a decadent drink like the Bushwhacker, with Malibu coconut rum, coffee liqueur, and ice cream. Hang out for a while after your meal and enjoy games, retail shopping, a foam pit, live music, and more. The Hangout Myrtle Beach is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 8 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm. 

The recently renovated Hard Rock Café is now located front and center at The Avenue, formerly known as Celebrity Square. The new building is a far cry from the former iconic pyramid and boasts a new modern feel with an impressive façade featuring an oversized guitar and expansive outdoor dining. The new two-story experience is more than just visually appealing. Hard Rock still offers an extensive scratch-made menu that is sure to please everyone in your group. Menu items include an array of starters, salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, burgers, house-smoked BBQ, and desserts. Hard Rock is also one of the best places for live music in Myrtle Beach. If you’re looking for an upbeat environment that’s just as fun for you as it is for your kids, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville is the place! This restaurant contains a “boat-load” of character and the island-inspired food never disappoints. We highly recommend the Volcano Nachos and the famous Cheeseburger in Paradise. No matter what you choose, it’ll pair great with a margarita. Enjoy your meal in paradise…but watch out for the hurricane! Call 843-448-5455 for reservations. Joe’s Crab Shack knows a thing or two about delivering great seafood. From crab buckets to steam pots, you’ll love the fresh food and atmosphere. Our favorite menu item? The East Coast Platter – strap on your bib and order away. Let’s be honest, you can’t visit the coast and not indulge in seafood at least once! Joe’s Crab Shack is open Sunday – Thursday from 11 am to 8 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm. For our sushi lovers out there, King Kong Sushi is a must-try for delicious and fresh Asian cuisine! Their menu features exciting sushi rolls with creative names like the 007 Roll, OMG Roll, and Rising Sun Roll. For those that aren’t sushi fans, they also serve hibachi-style dishes and traditional Japanese fare like Seaweed Salad, Edamame, and Gyoza. Enjoy your meal out on the patio overlooking the beautiful Lake Broadway or at their sushi bar that doubles as a full-service beverage bar serving unique Saki selections and seasonal cocktails. King Kong Sushi is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 am to 8 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm. 

Landry’s Seafood has been a Broadway at the Beach staple for years! They are known for serving fresh Gulf Coast seafood, delicious steaks, and sweet desserts. Their charming atmosphere adds to your dining experience – not to mention the beautiful waterfront views of Lake Broadway. You won’t be able to miss the bright lights of the store-front marquee sign. Landry’s opens daily at noon.

After spending a day on one of Myrtle Beach’s best golf courses, stop by from 4 – 6:30 pm on weekdays and Sundays from 4 – 6 pm for a Happy Hour menu featuring drink and appetizer specials starting at $4 each.

Located on The Avenue, Melt features an extensive menu for brunch, lunch, and dinner. From handcrafted grilled sandwiches to delicious wood-fired pizzas, there is something for everyone at this industrial-style dining spot. Melt is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 2 am. Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is a family-style dining experience. From fried chicken and collards to pot roast and mac and cheese, this southern cuisine will remind you of Grandma’s cooking. The family-style portions are “all you can eat,” so when you finish a plate of one item, they’ll bring out another (and another, and another)! Don’t forget to stop at the gift store on your way out to pick up cookware, books, recipe mixes and more. When you eat at Paula Deen’s, you better come hungry! One of Broadway’s newest eateries specializes in all things chicken – chicken wings, chicken salads, rotisserie chicken, chicken sandwiches, and of course chicken and waffles. But the menu at Rooster’s doesn’t stop there! Enjoy classic wedge salads, crunchy calamari, scratch-made flatbreads, deep-fried egg rolls, and onion ring-topped cheeseburgers. One bite and you’ll understand what all the fuss is about. Rooster’s boasts Happy Hour specials daily from 4 – 7 pm and a “Kickin’ Kocktails” menu you are sure to love. Señor Frogs is a restaurant and bar known for its exciting entertainment, unique cocktails and Mexican cuisine with a twist. Arriving to Broadway in 2005, this location was Señor Frogs’ first US unit. Visitors can enjoy tacos, nachos, margaritas and other classic Spanish-style dishes. Don’t forget to stop by their store and pick up a memorable Señor Frogs T-Shirt on your way out! Contrary to popular belief, kids are welcome for lunch and dinner at Señor Frogs and they’ll love the balloon artist making wacky hats for guests. Señor Frogs is open daily from noon to midnight. Southern Grill is a quaint eatery serving up classic bites like burgers, wings, and Philly steaks, but the real stars of their menu are the Greek Chicken Salad and the Gyro. Southern Grill also features a kids menu and serves vegetarian dishes, making it easy to please every member of your group. You won’t be disappointed! Sweet Carolina’s is a local grill and smokehouse featuring the best meats in town. From ribs and brisket to seafood and chicken, their Lowcountry grub is sure to satisfy. Each meal starts with a cornbread loaf appetizer and ends with a full belly topped with a smile. We recommend trying the Brisket Sandwich with peppers and onions. Known for their Chef-Inspired recipes that feature both light and hearty options, Wahlburgers is committed to serving you the best burgers in Myrtle Beach! Take a bite out of the Fiesta Burger loaded with fresh jalapeno and salsa or enjoy a more traditional option like The Double Decker. Make sure to ask for extra Wahl sauce! While best known for their giant colorful wall of flavorful frozen daiquiris, Wet Willie’s also serves delicious bar bites. Their menu includes classics like mozzarella bites, chicken wings, burgers, and nachos plus scrumptious daily specials like crispy chicken tenders and delicious gumbo that you and your wallet are sure to enjoy. No matter what daiquiri or dish you choose, be sure to ask for a seat on the 2,000 square foot patio with three big-screen TVs overlooking Lake Broadway. Take a quick trip to Japan during your Myrtle Beach stay at this delicious sushi and hibachi restaurant. Yamato Steakhouse has been a favorite among locals and visitors alike for more than 25 years – and we don’t see that changing anytime soon! Enjoy grilled seafood, beef, chicken, vegetables, fried rice, and more cooked right in front of you at your table. Watch out for the onion volcano! Reservations are preferred and can be made by calling 843-448-1959. Yamato is open during the summer months (from Memorial Day to Labor Day) from 4 pm until and during the winter months (Labor Day to Memorial Day) from 4 to 9:30 pm.
