Experience Valentine’s Day with an enchanting underwater backdrop at Ripley’s on February 14th. The Aquarium is offering 3 package options for 2021. The evening’s festivities will run from 5pm – 8pm and reservations are required.
No matter what night you decide to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, Paint with a Twist is hosting Valentine-themed paintings for the first two weeks of February. But these events are not only for couples. Several painting events are catered to a parent and child with kid-themed subjects like a llama, piglet, baby Yoda, and elephants.
For couples events, each partner will paint one side of the painting that will be hung together upon completion. The couple classes on the 12th, 13th, and 14th include a bottle of wine with the purchase of the class.
All other classes are BYOB (wine, beer, and snacks) with ice, cups, napkins, small plates, wine chillers, and corkscrews provided. Couples will have a chance to renew their vows this Valentine’s Day at the Brookgreen Creek boat landing. A nondenominational ceremony will take place with a reception to follow at the Leonard Pavilion.
For the ceremony, brides will be given a miniature bouquet and grooms will be given a boutonniere. A personalized certificate and professional photograph will also be given to each couple. For the reception, couples will be given an individual box of goodies (in lieu of a cake cutting), and champagne will be served.
Two ceremony times are available on February 14th: 1pm and 4pm. Romance in the Gardens is $50 per couple and reservations are required.
