Myrtle beach attractions for kids: coral beach's bowling alley
Sep24

With more on-site amenities and entertainment than any other Myrtle Beach resort, it’s no surprise that the Travel Channel named Coral Beach “Best Family Accommodations”. Families are at the heart of our operation and everything we do here at Coral Beach revolves around providing you with the most exceptional vacation experience possible. Our entire resort was designed from top to bottom with families in mind. If you’re looking for a resort with attractions for kids –we’ve got you covered! One of the many high-quality amenities we have (and also a guest favorite) is our recently revamped recreation center that we like to call our Entertainment Zone! Located on the 4th floor, our Entertainment Zone is a place for you to relax, have fun, and fill up all while creating lasting memories with your family. We’ve put together a little inside look for you at what all our entertainment zone has to offer!

Bowling Alley

Our bowling alley includes 8 AMF lanes, bowling shoes in a wide selection of sizes, and balls in a variety of weights. This newly renovated space also features multiple flat screen TVs to be sure you don’t miss a sports game or for enjoying our selection of hit music videos. Did you know that Coral Beach is the only Myrtle Beach hotel that features a kid-friendly attraction like our on-site bowling alley? We pride ourselves in this little fun fact and love to stop in and watch our guests having a blast while getting their bowl on!

Arcade

Whether you need a break from the sun or are looking for a little late night gaming, this is the place for you! Our video game arcade is a kid-approved attraction and features tons of favorite classics like Pac-Man, air hockey, pool, and many more. This is just part of what makes Coral Beach one of Myrtle Beach’s best family resorts. We are all for a little friendly family competition, and our arcade is the perfect place to bring it!

Chill & Grill Zone

The Chill & Grill zone is our on-site snack bar and ice cream shop. You will definitely work up an appetite after all those games of bowling and air hockey! Come sit down and refuel with us! Enjoy popular grill items such as burgers, hot dogs, and wings, and then tempt your taste buds with a delicious ice cream cone to finish it off! We also serve beverages such as beer, wine, cocktails, and sodas, that are guaranteed to quench your thirst and energize you for even more entertaining fun!

Sep07

Another summer has passed and fall is knocking on the door…but that doesn’t mean the fun stops here in Myrtle Beach! September is a favorite month to visit The Coral Beach Resort for many of our guests. The weather is still nice, the kids are back to school, and the Myrtle Beach area activities are still endless and fun! So sit back, relax (and maybe start packing your vacation bags) because we’ve put together a list for you of the best things to do in Myrtle Beach in September.

Dog Days Blues and Jazz Festival – September 16

While the “dog days of summer” are drifting away, this blues and jazz festival sure brings the heat! Located just north at the La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River, this festival features live entertaining from local performers, seasonal wine samples, and complimentary tours of the beautifully scenic vineyard. Bring your own blankets and chairs and come relax for an afternoon filled with great music and great memories. Tickets for this event are $8 but you can receive $3 off by bringing a canned food item. To purchase tickets or for more information, call (843) 399-9463.

Wine Fest – September 16

The 7th Annual Myrtle Beach Wine Fest is back! This popular wine tasting event is taking place September 16 in Valor Park at The Market Common, less than a 10-minute drive from The Coral Beach Resort! Featuring samples of over 50 wines from around the world, cold beer, and some awesome live entertainment. Admission is free but the wine samples are “pay as you go” with each guest required to purchase a $5 wine glass in order to enjoy the samples. The Wine fest starts at 11am and will go until 7pm, the perfect time for you to then go and grab a bite at one of The Market Common’s 10 delicious restaurants. As far as things to do in Myrtle Beach in September, this event is sure to not disappoint!

Brew at the Zoo – September 29

Put on each year by Brookgreen Gardens, Brew at the Zoo is easily one of the favorite things to do in Myrtle Beach during the fall! Go and taste over 30 regional and national craft beers, listen to live music by The Paul Grimshaw Band, and compete in some friendly games of giant Jenga and Cornhole! If you are worried about getting hungry, three food trucks with a variety of choices will be there as well. The event will last from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. Tickets are $45 and $20 for guests as designated drivers, to purchase call 843-235-6000.
